HISTORY
BUILDING ON A FAMILY CONSTRUCTION BUSINESS
Our building roots go back to 1918, when John Deklewa Sr., a master builder, carpenter and furniture maker, began designing and building custom homes in affluent Pittsburgh communities.

Over the next 90 years John Deklewa Sr. (and sons) went on to build schools, churches, hospitals and other commercial and industrial structures.

In 2006, John R. Deklewa, our founder’s great-grandson, returned his focus to the family’s design-build roots.

Today, RDC has designed, developed and constructed more than $250 million worth of projects including 2,000+ multi-family units and over one million square feet of commercial space.
