The RoBotany Vertical Farm is a 58,110 GSF Class A industrial building located in Braddock, PA. RDC’s team designed, developed and constructed the core & shell building as well as the tenant fit-out and process engineering components and systems. It will be equipped with excess power capabilities and adaptable for any light to medium industrial use. Interior construction will consist of packaging, shipping, production, and office space.

The building will be occupied by RoBotany/Fifth Season, a robotic indoor-vertical-farming company using automation and analytics to transform modern agriculture. The company's main launch includes its own produce brand, Pure Sky Farms, which is available in Whole Foods and Giant Eagle Market District.

In 2020, RDC won the distinguished “Industrial Build-to-Suit”project of the year sponsored by NAIOP Pittsburgh. This was also the first Federal Opportunity Zone project in Western Pennsylvania.
